Vintage Barkcloth
Can anyone help me learn how to identify authentic bark cloth fabric and also Barkcloth vintage?
I need to know how to identify barkcloth, both the original Hawaii from the bark of trees and other objects made in the 50s, which is made from fabric called bark cloth.
The fabric is woven into a one piece and the pattern is printed on canvas as an image. The inner bark cloth is not woven, but always together – therefore, no tissue.
