What would be a fair price for my secondhand books?
There is a book shop in our town who deals in secondhand books. I want to sell some of my old books and was wondering what price I should expect for them. Just a rough guide would help me. There are a few horror fiction books (paper backs mostly), some crime fiction, Jordon's Autobiography (hard back). Also some specialist/funny books about cats etc. Most are in very good condition. I don't think that I have any Collectible Books in this lot that are worth a great deal. I have twenty books to sell in total.
The one I go to has a set amount per book and whether or not it's paperback or hardcover. You don't get much cash for them, but it's better to get store credit. You can find amazing stuff in a used book store. A guy I dated found a copy of Stranger in a Strange Land from 1963 which was when it was published.
