Only history I do not sell just want to know? thank you! my cup and saucer design is not on this page is ... Does anybody know how old are they? They looks so new and perfect. Hello, your cups and dishes of dates from c.1955-1964. Ridgway (an established middle class manufacturer of porcelain and stoneware) absorbed several companies through mergers and acquisitions Adderly, Colclough (founded by the famous painter former) Minton's, and posts. In 1955, consolidation these names was almost completed and it was agreed in the contract documents with different names listed under the name of the parent under their respective brands. In 1964, Ridgway was divided and sold to Chinese enterprises separately (Josiah Wedgwood & Sons acquired the name "and Ridgway pottery factories, and the rights to the name Adderley, stands and Doutlon acquired (Colclough Colclough Doulton had previously worked as one of its heads of the Department of Art). As a reference in looking for more detailed information about the company and its history I strongly suggest buying Geoffrey Godden "Encyclopedia of British Porcelain" To date, it is the most concise and comprehensive on the subject (and far superior to any of these options). For a better understanding in the understanding of 18 century to early 19th, I suggest a ceramic porcelain Old English WBHONEY Guide valuable and easy to read book on the subject which is still used as a resource for staff in museums throughout the United States and England.
