If someone spray painted an old theme, still trying to sell on eBay?

I realize that this topic is probably worth about 300-500 dollars but since my friend spray painted, you will not receive May 1 / 3 of the money that is worth .... if someone could buy it, however, could be re-conditioned, as can be and then stained with sand or something ?..... is an old chair
