Ahould they make a second titanic? (ship, not movie)?

Just imagine being able to ride in an EXACT replica of the titanic. You'd be able to walk along the grand staircase, sleep in nice cabins with paintings on the walls, and Antique Furniture. being able to eat dinner in their fancy dining rooms, with crystal chandeliers hanging above you, and people playing the violins while you eat. Also, you would be able to see all of the architecture they used on the Original ship. All of the Designs they had on the walls, floors, and furniture.

To me, this would be a dream come true. I know everything there is to know about the titanic, because im always reading about it. Im fascinated about it.

What do you think? Should they make another titanic?

( of course, it would meet todays ship building saftey standards, when they built it )

I am sorry but the ship wouldn't pass the modern regulations for commercial vessels. The wood used in the panels is a fire hazard and thus would have to find a substitute. The other problem is communal showers for all but the 1st class passengers that would be a definite turn off. The coal power plant would be illegal in most US ports. The elevator system wouldn't pass inspection either. You should keep in mind that only the 1st class had all the fancy stuff every one else was screwed with communal living. The most damning thing is the cost the ship wouldn't be able to make money as she is too small for today's market. The Titanic was 66,000 tons full load and 900 feet long. Today's ships are 150,000 tons and 1,000+ feet long. This is done so that the ships can make the necessary money from each cruise to justify there construction Titanic is simply too small to make it.
